You know, I can remember other atheists(non-new atheists) saying something similar. It -is- easy to be atheist in the way they’d have it- but that hasn’t always been the case. There was a time when philosophical atheism required a great deal of thought and justification.

And it’s dangerous to try and turn science into a religion. Science can be wrong, too, and unless you have a sense of perspective about it(same as religion), it’s hard to correct those mistakes.
